BEN

Good ole, edible Ben. Pictures taken in the last few days. He is changing so fast and it's just killing me. I'm trying to relish in every aspect of his baby-stage. I once was not a baby person and despised the baby phase. But, since he's been sleeping through the night and knowing he's my last one, I'm eatin' it up. . . for now anyway.

Off to the first day of Pre-K

Jack started school on Monday and it was quite uneventful. He said he was excited, yet there was no show of excitement. After a million, "are you okay?"'s, he was on the "bus" and heading to pre-k. When he got home, he was happy and sweaty (from the playground). I guess it was a success. This is what I have to look forward to with boys: very few details.

watching tv before leaving

Lightning McQueen shoes - check. Transformers backpack - check. Hair brushed - check.
I know alot of these are so similar, but I just loved all of them. He looks so big.

Now he's just in a posing mood these last two.

Misc. and Jack's classroom orientation

I take so many pictures, it's hard to decide which ones to post. They all look the same anymore. That's because we do the same thing over and over every day. Jack loves to hang out with Ben and touch him, hug him. I just love getting in their faces and taking pictures. They will grow up to hate cameras and having their picture taken.

Also, Jack had classroom orientation last week. I took Ben with us (I mean, it's not like he could stay home and fold clothes). It went really well; Jack walked in like he owned the place and dove right in to the toys, puzzles and messy table.

Already sick of the camera - look.

His "Bear Hug" onesie from Aunt Beth. He looks so happy in this picture. I love him.

Mrs. Hoskins and Jack at the messy table. Ben in the stroller.

He was fascinated with the "white" playdoh, which I think was just doh.

Takin' it all in in the classroom. I love this look on his face.

And....I added this one in because of the cheeks.

Spell T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Yesterday, Jack got in a bit of trouble with me. It happened right before nap and it had been brewing all day long. When Sam got home last night, I was telling him about it. I was talking in code and spelling everything. I was trying extremely hard to fill him in without Jack having a clue of what on earth I was talking about. Well, at the end of my telling Sam, Jack pipes up and says, "but daddy, I said I was sorry. I did, I said I was sorry." Apparently I can't talk in code or spell around here anymore.

Party Time

Jack was invited to Niko's 4th birthday party last Saturday. It was so much fun. There was a 20 ft. Batman bouncy house, pizza, cake and ice-cream. I had a good time myself. Below are some pictures from the party.

Around the House

Jack and Ben have been spending more time together. Jack loves to make Ben laugh. It's been so much fun watching them together. At the YMCA, the workers tell me how protective Jack is of his brother. If someone walks near Ben, Jack is over there in a second inspecting the situation.

These are some pictures I've taken in the last few days:

Snuggling on the couch.

I love the hand on the head.

I think ben is trying to get some cheeks.

Jack enjoying his pool outside. Wearing his undies without a care in the world.

I love this one; so relaxed, such a boy thing.

Balancing act.

He received these goggles in a treat bag from a birthday party. After he took them off, he had bright red rings around his eyes for hours.

My Boys

Oh, look how blessed I am. I was sitting with Jack and watching TV and then feeding Ben.

I LOVE this picture. They look like they're laughing at each other. Priceless.

Now, not so much. Just hanging out.

I can't believe it's time for the exersaucer already. Ben likes it for about 10 minutes at a time.

Jack's been wearing his knee pads and elbow pads around the house non-stop.

Ear protection and sunglasses and a bib. As Sam says, you can never be too safe.

Two thumbs up!

My handsome Jack.

I don't really even know what to say about this one...

Ahhh - all my boys (minus Cubby).

Lexington, Part 2

More demolition derby (in the Barbie jeep).

A foam finger and a "Handy Manny" hammer. The things they choose to play with.
